Ok so some more ewar ideas are always nice right guys. Heres the idea.
The wireless hacking pad or whatever you want to call it is a deployable module that sticks to the front of the command uplink one would normally hack. For visual purposes say its a little remote bug type thing that sticks to the screen or even a box placed next to it...or a wallee. Anything like that works.
Now a scout runs to bravo and sees a bunch of enemies there. The uplink is in some cover so they deploy their wireless hacking device next to the objective and get a little bit of distance. Once the scout hides but has a line of fire to the objective, they begin the hack, just to get the objective flashing. They keep it flashing until a soldier comes to check the objective. When the person and their friends get there, a core locus grenade lands inbetween their feet and sends them back to the clone lab for recloning. Then the scout either manually hacks or deploys another uplink if possible. Hacking would be done in the same method that the remote explosives are detonated or through asmall laptop type equipment piece that you have after you deploy the wireless receiver.
Requirements: Equipment slot systems hacking level three Remote hacking systems level 1
Remote hacking would not be affected by normal systems hacking as it uses a different system than the normal tac pad. Uneffected by codebreakers. ( Perhaps affected by systems hacking main skill but not by codebreakers.
effective hacking range, 20-50 meters maybe. cant be too long of a range.
Thoughts, comments, snide remarks?
Dedicated scout. Because the suit is underpowered. Imagine the good ones when we get buffed people ;)

Cool idea.
For balance, the range would still have to be fairly close, and would have to be slower than if you were hacking the actual terminal.
Who cares what some sniper has to say
