No fire rate cap means it can be fired to a higher rate than the assault vairaint ... It has the range and damage of a TAC AR .. AND if all that wasn't enough it has a charge shot that can 1 hit KO most suits !!!
There is a reason a huge amount of people have started using it and its because it is OP
Cap it's rate of fire just like you did with the TAC AR of old and reduce its alpha damage .. if it has a charge ability it shouldn't have such a high base damage !! Laser weapons are supposed to gain damage as they heat up yet the ScR has a ridiculously high damage without it ...
With the increased range it makes the LR completely obsolete .. who on earth would use a laser rifle with less range .. a small optimal, huge damage fall off outside of that small optimal .. a lowly 17 damage that doesn;t even increase as the tiers increase .. has a much slower rate of fire than a ScR
The ScR is far to good for what it's supposed to be ..
In all honesty the ScR would be balanced if you had to charge every shot .. eg 0.5 second charge between each shot, this would stop the modded controller problem, the rapid fire issue it should never have a higher RoF than the assault variant .. whats the point in using the assault variant then ?)
If The RR has a 0.2 spool time before firing and does 50 or so damage how can the ScR have no RoF restrictions, more damage and a charge shot capability ?
My main has a 2.1 KD/R and is at 19m sp my Amarr Alt which I made 3 weeks ago has 1.2m sp and a KD/R of 2.5 solely because the ScR is that OP

Ummmmm, the ScR has a max ROF and it's supposed to be better than the TacAR because the TacAR was place holder for it.....

What needs to be changed is it should only be able to be charged when in ADS mode. Hip firing a charged shot in CQC is too much. |

My point is that it is better than the TAC AR of old that was so OP it got nerfed
The ScR doesn't have a fire rate cap, go use KB/M and click the left button as fast as you can and watch all the bullets that get fired .... when a semi auto variant fires faster than the Assault variant their is a problem

Right now you can glitch out of the overheat and you barely take any damage from it and it still lets you fire 17 bullets .. that d 74+ base damage with no mods .. thats over 1000eHP before the weapon gets close to overheating
I have both the AR and ScR at max proficiency .. the ScR is way more OP than the Duvolle ...

No laser weapons are not.
That is only the iteration of the hand held laser, we know. The scrambler rifle is a pulse laser, a different type of laser all together.

Wrong. Base damage has profile adjustments meaning 90 shields / 60 armor. It does have a rpm cap. Overheat ( damage / downtime ) and fitting cost is trade off for charge shot and alpha damage Pulse laser not laser
Please get your facts and math straight before posting. Also new rifles will change everything. |

You just haven't reached it.
It can shoot just as fast as an AR, 750 RPM.
11 Rounds per second.
While I could suggest reducing that, and fixing the ScR heat glitch, the ScR is fine.
Refunding a few AUR militia Blueprints pertaining to vehicles because their respective modules will not exist anymore

When you say "90 shields/60 armor" are you saying that's the damage it does?

@ Mekoo - Yes, after the profile has been applied ( 120% shields, 80% armor). I like your idea on the ROF and overheat fix. Only turbo controllers could hit that peak , and reducing it won't affect honest players. All weapons have damage profiles btw.
Edit: these damage profiles should be shown in game for each weapon. Proficiency 5 helps a lot with the scrambler making it shields 135% / armor 95%. |

Please post the fitting costs of both rifles And inform the people of how many shots it takes to over heat and the feedback damage of the over heat and the amount of sp required to start skilling into it
