Everyone is crying about the nerf but I read the dev thread. They may have linked the sidearm topic but in the actual dev thread, they said they are changing around Logi skills to help combat slaying. I did not see anything that was specific in saying they were taking away the light weapon slot, unless I missed a thread announcement somewhere.

Well we have some exerience on how CCP "fixes" things the community is complaining about...so we always expect the worst and hope for the best. But just in case we try to fight the worst ^^ |

It's like the intentionally linked the worst logistics topic just **** everyone off. Stuff like this is why I'm playing BF4 right now.
I tried to put a level into Amarr Commando once, but got a server notification saying "Why?"

I guarantee if the assaults get an OP bonus they will be better and no more QQ will fall upon the murder logis and it will take skill for them to go 90-1 like everyone else...

CCP has mentioned in the past that what they are looking at is the skill bonus for logi vs assault.
the logi bonus of +5 rep is OP and the assault bonus of marginal shield regen is uselss in compairison.
so when CCP says they are nerfing logis, THATS what they are refering to.
the forum has a search function for a reason, use it. |

There were no support logis on my team, at all.
