Have any fellow nova knifers had a thing-thing go on where you knife without charging simultaneously and you can not knife after 4 slashes??? Please advise.

Are you talking about after the 4th slash the sound will play, but the knife animation won't fire?

Yea- it sucks when you die because of that. Throwing out a melee will reset that nonsense.

I just came from a game where I charged and knifed someone in the face after FGing his buddy. Holy **** did he panic when I charged. Grenades everywhere, man. EVERYWHERE! Swap back, charged up my FG, BLAPPED a scout in the chest when he was a foot away from me with knives of his own. Got killed by an obscure Locus shortly after.

So, thank you everybody that thought the splash radius of the FG needed to be reduced. Now I don't even get hurt from point blank!

Yes, a heavy with nova knives and forge gun. 'Sup. (On topic, I hate it when they do that crap. FG does something similar at times with its "ghost shots", so it's an annoying thing all together.)

It is just best to discipline yourself in that you charge hit a heavy the first time. Otherwise it gets real ugly. Best to just pop em and skip along.

I realize that, in the wonky dust world, that hardly happens for a scout. But when it does, it feels natural and groovy.
