This is a Google Drive spreadsheet, which means that you will need to login to Google Drive and then do:
"File -> Make a copy" to save an editable copy for yourself.

How to use
- To use, simply double click the green cells to select values, or start typing the module names in them.
To set character skills
- Go to "Skills & Characters" sheet
- Change only the green cells in here
- In the column that starts with "Your Char1", rename this to your character name
- In the same column, populate your skills
- Now, on the "Simple Fitting Tool", under Character dropdown, you can select your character.

How to update from 1.0.0 (and higher)
- To update, make a copy of the new version with a different name (for example prefix the version number)
- You can import Saved Fittings from the Simple Fitting Tool page using the "Import" button.
- You can replace your Character Skills from Skills & Characters page using the "Replace Character Data" button.

Alternatively, to copy just one individual character skills:
- Copy your skills from the previous version's "Skills & Characters" sheet:
--- Click on the column header (the very top, that contains alphabet letters) containing your character
--- CTRL+C
- Paste into new version's "Skills and Characters" sheet by doing the following:
--- Right-click the column header (the very top, that contains alphabet letters) of "Your Char1"
--- Select Paste Special -> Paste values only

FAQ

Q: I can't change any values / I get permission error, what to do?
A: This is a Google Drive spreadsheet. Before you can use it, you need to be logged in to Google Drive, then select "File -> Make a copy..."

Q: My vehicle values are completely off / Where do I put my skills?
A: The first thing you would have to do when starting to use the spreadsheet is to set your individual skills. Click on "Skills and Characters" sheet, and configure the skills for "Your Char1". You can then also rename the characters

Q: I got more than 3 characters
A: You have pre-configured space for 3 characters. You can add more by clicking "Add Character Slot" button.

Q: The "Simple Fitting Tool" has too many numbers, is there an easier version?
A: Switch to "Adv Fitting Tool" sheet. Scroll around. Take a deep breath. Switch back to "Simple Fitting Tool". See: much easier

Q: I actually like the "Adv Fitting Tool" much better, can I use that instead?
A: Yes, it's actually as simple as double clicking on the green cells to start selecting values. However once you use anything on the "Adv Fitting Tool" sheet (other than skills), it will break the connection to "Simple Fitting Tool". To restore it, make a copy of the original again.

Q: Why are some slots marked with yellow "No such slot"?
A: These indicate that no such slot is available on this dropsuit. Don't use them.

Q: How do I remove a module?
A: Select the slot and hit DEL or Backspace key on keyboard. Alternatively, select any entry that starts with "---"

Q: I have a module/vehicle for which you don't have all/some stats. How can I use it?
A: Please post the stats here
