If one side holds all the points, uniterrupted, for some length of time...probably around 1 - 2 minutes...just end the match early and give the winner a small slice of the loser's ISK (to deincentivize the losing team from just giving up).
I'm pretty sure I've seen this sort of thing suggested before, but redline matches are just boring for everyone.
RDVs are a failed experiment - can't we just remove them from the game?

While this is certainly a possibility, I don't think I've ever seen it happen...if it does, I'm confident that it's pretty rare. I'd gladly sacrifice the opportunity for 'rightful winners' in those few situations to make the far more common stomps less painful.
But, I think this would probably be an appropriate solution for pubs only. I wouldn't to interfere with the dynamics of clone count in PC. FW...meh, either way.

You know what might be simpler than my original idea (or maybe just a more elegant implementation)...when one side owns all the points, the damage to the enemy MCC is drastically increased. Just balance the damage multiplier so that the match is reduced to my initial suggestion length.
@Galvan - Regarding SP accrual...there's not really any way to know how long the match would have lasted had it not ended early, and therefore no way to calculate the 'passive battle SP' that would have accrued...so it seems like the only possibility to just award SP for whatever happens before match end.
If I wanted to AFK, I'd...I don't know, do something other than play the game. If I'm getting redlined, I snipe, or try to break out w/ uplinks (but it's usually too late at that point). If I'm doing the redlining, I drive up and down the redline trying to kill something, anything...when I'm playing the game, I want to actually play. If you quit out, you lose whatever ISK/SP you would have earned, right? I've always assumed that, don't know with certainty. In any case, that's a workaround for the current situation, really, rather than a proper fix.
