When 1.6 first dropped, it wasn't terrible. It felt like the game was running more smoothly but now the game experience is just absolutely awful. TTK seems to be getting shorter and shorter. Matchmaking is completely off the wall and unbalanced - is it because the game has fewer players now or is it something else?
Matches are like flipping a coin; I've had maybe three decent pub matches that felt worthwhile.
Man. I seriously want to enjoy this game but something feels completely wrong. Even after taking another break and coming back into the game, I feel like I'm dragging myself through a match to enjoy it.
What happened? |

DUST is having a rough November. You got low ttk, ps4, bpo removals, incoming logi nerfs, 3xp grindfest (which is good but I admit I QQd about).
Plus the usual respec vs no respec, av vs vehicle, and AR vs everybody else. Not to mention Cats and Dogs living together, and oh yeah, matchmaking and pubstomping. Hopefully 1.7 is epic and we can forget these dark times.
Great job, team. Head back to the MCC for debriefing and cocktails.

What happened is CCP is using spaceship developers to make a first person shooter. They don't actually know what they are doing. They make a council of only elitist closed beta members from certain corps. They think it's acceptable to have AR's as a functional AV weapon. These aren't natural notions first person shooter developers imagine. It's foolish to believe they WILL EVER get their act together. |

Its just a foolish to assume they won't, we shall see what happens in future.
