haven't played for a few months. tried few pubs today, and the amount of grenades is ridiculous. Throw a nanohive, dance on it, and spam core locus. This is a pub, i can only imagine how it is in pc and fw where people usually field better gear. Limit all grenades to 1, whether replenishable from a nanohive or not is another subject. |

1 is way too harsh, contact grenades are a really fun item and extremely useful but since they got reduced to 1,
no one uses them they should have been removed rather than nerfed they got hit so hard
I'd agree with ammo set @ 2 with a delay on re-supply
but really you want to reduce 2/3 of what we can carry??
how would you feel if that happened to your clip and ammo reserve ??? |

Yes reduce it. The way it is now, main weapon and side arm are last resort after running out of nades and hives.
how would i feel if it happened to clip and reserve? are you comparing grenades to main weapons? if you are then unfortunately you are another nanodancer grenade spammer and will say whatever there is to say to defend your crutch. When I play a SHOOTER i expect to SHOOT my gun. The matches I played today are just ridiculous, everyone has core locus, standing on opposing sides of the objective, nanodancing and chucking grenades. I turned off my ps3 and probably won't turn it on again until 1.7, hopefully things will change then.

I agree Miahus, far to much equipment on the field that it all feels like spamming, in most historical actual events, ammunition was a cherished item, not a wasted one.

Grenade spam is a little out of hand, but let's be careful with the over-reactive super-nerfs! Baby steps!
One thing I would suggest is to slightly increase the wait time to pickup a grenade from a nanohive, as well as how much ammo is taken from a hive to replenish a grenade.
People spec into grenades, the people who have them should be allowed to be effective with them. Nanohive spammers specifically are what needs to be dealt with.
