But no charge time either.

Would be cool if plasma cannon acted like a charge sniper rifle, half charge = damage we have now, full charge = +50% damage but obviously longer charge so it slows down DPS. |

no. just make it an rpg. very slow reload (4.5 seconds)
Large blaster area and damage
moderately high direct damage

Make it shoot fluffy bunnies. 
The biggest problem with a plasma cannon operator is taking them seriously enough to not laugh and get yourself killed while hunting them down.
Had one today. Kid, your toy space gun ain't gonna damage a Maddy. Just the way it is.
Or they could remove them and pretend they never happened. It worked for draw distance. |

Why do people that have no love for the Plasma Cannon insist on ruining it for those who do? A few of us accept it just the way it is, and dont want to change it.
If the Plasma Cannon is not your bread and butter main weapon at least 50% of the time, please keep your opinions about it to yourself.

I support removing the plasma cannon because that means I will get back my SP spent on it. Weapon has been broken/bugged for over 7 patches now (ccp has not mentioned a PLC fix so far, so I assume it wont be changed in 1.7).

I am dead serious. There is nothing in this game I love more than the Cannon. I will not let it become another easymode weapon, we have plenty of those for ****** players already. Leave my gun alone.

Sorry not your call budy. And the only thing I am proposing is an increase in direct damage to bring it in line as a viable AV weapon.
