Lol, all these people saying we get free stuff when you have to spend 20 dollars just to get 20 of these worthless dropsuits. Also, telling us the day before an event is not how you advertise an event. If you want people to spend more AUR, make everything 50% off and they will buy things up like candy from a pinata. Or, better yet, make it so we can re-spec our skills for 40k AUR. I be you EVERYONE would buy that, multiple times even.
One more thing, stop pushing the black eagle suit. It sucks and is only good if you have proto gallente scout, proficiency 5 in shotgun, 5 in profile dampening, 5 in all the skills that increase stamina/make you run faster so that it is actually worth it to run those suites and get a lot of kills since you will be fast, nearly undetectable until you're right ontop of someone, and your shotgun hits like a truck. |

Lol when I told people not to complain about the black eagle suits some got for inactivity, they said I was just jealous.
Now we got people saying it isn't even worth purchasing, the suits are paper-thin, novelty items, even when some of you probably use boosters and will end up getting them anyway.
Might be a pun on Black Friday, but the irony of this situation probably has the whole of CCP in tears laughing.

It's people like you who have no logic. Look at this in perspective of CCP. Why would they run any sort of promotion? The same reason any company runs a promotion, to encourage people to buy more of their products. So, with that in mind, how well does this promotion meet that goal? It's like saying Best Buy offers a deal, "Spend $50 and get 10 sticks of gum!" I love this community for the most part! If the people behind this Free To Play Model should take any advice from any other Free To Play Model, is to take some from Warframe! Seriously! Most everything except boosters are free, even the cosmetics you can get for free. I spent more money on this game than any other game, and I've spent money on Dust 514 when it was in closed beta, but since then the idea of spending money when you can get any permanent items is just horrible sounding to me. This game seems more like pay to win even though it isn't.
My point is the marketing team should be fired for this black friday idea was horrible, and after the seventy percent off they still don't give us what we really want to spend money on? WTF somebody get their heads out of their asses, make a black friday suit that is super OP and you get to pick what type of black friday suit you get when you spend enough money on their never ending money draining consumables. Those suits I have described sound more like something I would buy and everybody in the community would fight over. And the hardest part would be figuring out whether to use them in stomping competition, or saving them to sell for tons of money on the players market once released. Sure that's pay to win but it's more fun way of pay to win in my opinion anyways. These tin suits that are scout suits should never be bonus suits, because they are the weakest suits, and should only be bonus if they can turn invisible or some crazy stuff that offsets the thin armor. Enough said.

Actually, I agree with this. The above idea would be even WORSE than the deal going on now. Though, now that all AUR items (exept Boosters) will be 70% off, I'll actually buy some AUR. Though, I won't do it for the free crap eagles that I will get.
Once the player market opens, those are going on the market so fast. |

I am looking at the Marketplace and it says 70% off all aurum items. The original price of the prototype dropsuits were 100 aur, but now it says 70 aur. Is it 30% off, not 70% off. |

Those Black Eagles are worth about your average blueberry competency level.
I want to get a couple things to try anyway so i buy an Aurum pack but those Black Eagles are going on sale the moment player market opens up and i will heavily discount the price to those who buy in bulk. Heck im even open to price negotiation.

Nothing wrong with this type of event but the prize for spending is meh. Take it or leave it but you can sell it back to get your money back if your optimistic. ANYWAY Thanks CCP However you would have caught more fish with purchasing x amount and getting x Omega Booster or Officer gear

Its not going to make me spend any AUR but its certainly not a bad sale.
I'd be pissed if CCP offered some otherwise unobtainable item with this promotion. Thanks for not doing that!
Certainly AUR players will love this and appreciate the free suits but the promotion fails to appeal to player like myself who are interested at this point in only boosters and vanity items.

I like the 70% sale. Thank you CCP. I purchased a bunch of AUR gear I would of otherwise wouldn't bothered. Soon as the server come back up I think I'll be buy a few other things now that I think about it. |
