Probably not the best thing to do in a chaotic fire fight, but i cant help it! The amount of halo that I have played in the past has fine tuned me to always aim for the head so I am able to kill the enemy as fast as possible.
What part of the body do you all usually aim for?

Im with you, I aim for the head. Primary weapon is a pistol as well so if that shot connects, its gonna hurt
Dedicated scout. Because the suit is underpowered. Imagine the good ones when we get buffed people ;)

Aiming for centre mass generally works best for me in a pinch.
I go for the head with things like charged SCR shots, if possible.

This is what I do:
Aim for center mass with automatic weapons. (DPS is insane anyways, just make sure all the bullets are landing)
Aim for the Neck with Burst weapons. (Recoil will get you the headshot)
Aim for the head with semi-auto and sniper rifles. (Semi-auto weapons generally have good "Resets" for recoil. Get a feel for the rhythm and watch the bodies drop. As for snipers? Dat headshot multiplier.)
