I've been using mouse/keyboard for the last two day, and while I can say I'm better with some things; I've also been worse with other areas.
My sniping has been wonderful compare to how terribly I do with a controller. However, there are a few things I am happy to complain about.
--For one, the hit detection still needs some work. I often snap my crosshairs over an enemy and find his shields flaring, but find no damage has been dealt.
--Aiming is also troubled, but hard for me to describe. I don't know many of the developer terms for aiming, but I'll do the best to describe. I'm trying to get my hairs over an enemy, but I'm constantly grazing over his body with my hairs. It's almost like I can only get my crosshair on the pixels just between him. I"m not sure if this is me, but it's a pain.
--Vehicle support is terrible! I haven't tried dropships yet, but the tanks are a nightmare. I was using a stabilized blaster on a Soma, and I found I couldn't zoom in! I also found the sensitivity/tracking on blasters mean't I had to move across my desk two times with my mouse just to turn around, so aiming is a hassle rather than reflex. I don't know why this is, but it's extremely annoying.
--The emulation of controllers just takes away from the point of using a mouse. It's less precise by a large margin!
If anyone wants, I also have some ideas regarding button layouts. Since it seems bindable keys aren't anywhere in sight, I'd suggest different preset.
Right now, we get this weird one that requires me to switch between using my right and left hands. It's be a ton easier if we could just have seperate presets for both lefties and righties. |

Worst part I feel is navigating menus. The +, - stuff instead of L2 or R2 is terrible. Not to mention the only way to scroll up in some menus is to use the arrow keys. I have to move my hand from WASD, instead of having those damn keys scroll. |
