Until then one or two low slots to signature tank, so a hybrid brick/signature tank or a pure brick tank are your choices.
Considering that most people play with the medium frame that has the most slots in the game, the choice is there until something happens.

You need to equip Complex Dampners. Why aren't you doing this? I never get scanned, although I can't use less than an ADV suit. I have to use 3 CD sometimes due to the high tiered scans being used. |

I fit dampener i'm killed in 3 shots and i can't hold my teamate with my repair tools.
Or maybe because 50% of the scannars are advanced proto and need 2-3 complex dampener ? Sorry i have something else to fit with these PG/CPU. |

Minmatar assault suit( mostly run mk.0 scout) we only have to low slots

Logis literally have thy most slots in the game, the issue here is that you don't want to have to make choices. There are benefits to hybrid signature/brick tanking where you can easily block out all but proto scanners on your suit with just two complex damps (cheap costing mods too), and there are benefits to pure brick tanking. This bothers you because you can't do everything in one suit since now there are more options which can be fit on a single suit.
If you are a logibro you are with other medium frames so dampening isn't needed, but what I believe if you aree the other half which is is build like a slayerbro then throw on a dampener or two and brick the rest.
Currently the method medium frames are using to counter the active scanner is to entirely ignore the defenses CCP gave you for them, and then rally for a nerf which then you won't have to defend yourself from them.
While the active scanner needs dialing in, (we agree on that), most who are raging against the active scanner are just upset because they don't want to have to have any weaknesses build wise.
Currently Dust14 is brick/dmg build, doesn't matter the suit, having signature or even eventually regen tanking would add more variety, but for signature tanking to mean anything, scanners still need to be viable.

Remove the ability for LOGIS to Carry A-Scanner.
BALANCE...
They are the only ones NOT sacrificing something precious to use them, there by making them standard issue. (An E Slot)

I disagree.
I could be carrying a Rep Tool in that spot to farm WP.
Instead I choose to be able to see people so I don't die.
