I think the Scrambler damage needs to be reduced a little bit (for the semi-auto) and the Assault Scrambler variant needs to have more heat buildup.
The AR just needs a nerf overall.

The Scrambler Rifle just has ridiculous hipfire accuracy, and the AR needs to kick when the first bullet is fired, not the 20th.

Although crutch users will disagree, they both need nerfs. Charge shots need to be less devastating on ScRs and ARs need more kick.

Charge Shots need to reduce accuracy the longer their held, or, if you hold the charge shot for more than say, 2 seconds, it begins to build up heat, until fired.

For scr, overheat for holding charge ane nerfing the tac variant is not a bad idea. Love my scr but it does feel like easy mode lately.
Holding opinion on ar until new rifles are out.

Now that I have used both weaponsGǪ (thank you Black Eagle Event)
Scrambler Rifle Fix the overheat override glitch and the Scrambler would be more in line Dial back the Aim on hip fire and it would be well balanced.
ARGǪ Ah hell maybe they need to look at damage drop off because it seems to drop off less than most weapons. (HMG for example) Dial back the Aim on hip fire Limit damage within 10m to inhibit outperformance over CQC alpha damage weapons Add a dispersion mechanism that is not overridden through "feathering"
Overall limit damage mods to one, no stackingGǪ and give us more options for weapon upgrades.

Just wait for the new rifles the AR won't be a big problem once they hit as all of them have nearly dentical DPS with more range. CCPs way ooffixing the AR. |

-Coming from an AR and Scrambler user You do realize 2 new weapons coming soon will fundamentally change the dynamics on the bf, neither weapon should be altered until we have the ability to see the new weapons and old vs each other in the hands of both new and experienced players. And even then the anecdotal feedback loop that manages to push its way through all the lies and qq on this forum will still take time because you will need a significant amount of players to not only spec and get good with these new weapons but to also max out the proficiency skill and stack a few damage mods , then and only then will you be able to make a realistic assertion as to the opedness or not of either of these 2 weapons. I use both of these guns and do not feel either is op, many players on this games skill are however u.p...... |
