Hi.
Since yesterday, 4 AM GMT, I started experiencing multiple game freezes. What happens is a complete console freeze and my PS3 can't even restart properly (triple bip and shut down).
This bug (?) happens all the time when I'm in a squad, but, unusually, it doesn't seem to occour when I'm alone. I managed to play 3 matches solo since yesterday and everything went well.
So far:
-Whenever I'm in my quarter alone, everything works fine.
-If I join a battle alone, everything works fine.
-As soon as I join a squad from my merc quarter, there's a high probability (about 90%) that the game freezes. This might happen immediately or after some time, indefinitely.
-If the squad leader joins a public match then, there is another chance that my PS3 freezes as soon as the matchmaking finds our battle.
-If the squad leader joins a FW match then, there is another chance that my PS3 freezes in the Warbarge, waiting for deployment.
-If I manage to get in the game with my squad (about 1 out of 15 games), then everything works perfectly fine and I can play the whole match without experiencing any issue.
-When the battle is over and we get back to our quarters, the game will probably freeze for me.
-I can play any other game on my PS3, both online and offline, without running into similar issues. I tried playing 5 other games for a total of 12 hours and nothing happened.
-No connection errors occour along this issue.
Needless to say, I can't play DUST like this. If there is anything I can do, please tell me. Should I send a ticket?

I am having the same experience. Had to restart 8-10 times yesterday and 5 so far today. Mostly in merc quarters after a battle or in chat. Not even worth squading up since you don't know if you'll make it to the next battle. Please give us some insite to the issue.
Excuses are getting old, where is my jetpack?

If you haven't already, send a ticket Keri. Thats going to be the best way to resolve the issue

GM replied to my Support Ticket. I share it here for people experiencing similar issues:
Hello,
Thank you for contacting the DUST 514 Customer Support Team. We are sorry to hear that you are encountering issues with the game.
We would first recommend you to plug your PS3 System directly to your router using a wired connection since this might improve its performance and avoid packet losses. As a possible fix, please try to leave all chat channels, and rejoin only the most important ones.
Also, please try clearing the Saved Data Utility. To do so, follow the instructions provided below:
(You might not have the Saved Data File but if you do then please delete it)
1- From your XMB Menu go to Games 2- Select Saved Data Utility 3- Highlight DUST 514 and Press the "triangle" for open the Options dialogue and then select the option "Delete".
- Delete the Saved Data Utility for DUST 514:
Game > Saved Data Utility (PS3)> select DUST then press Triangle on your controller and delete.
We would also suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the game should the above not work.
You can uninstall the game client as per instructed below:
- Under "Games" on the XMB, hover over DUST 514. - Press Triangle - Select Delete and confirm deletion
You can reinstall DUST 514 as per instructed below:
- Select the "Playstation Network" on the XMB - Select "Account Management" - Select "Transaction Management" - Select "Download List" - DUST 514 will be listed on this screen, select "Download"
When you have performed these tasks, please restart your console and try again.
