There are a couple things wrong with your story there, OP. I'll list them for you. :D
1) How did you know he was scanning the whole time? If you killed them, that rules out the possibility of being in his team. Much less his squad.
2) Just because the effect shows, it doesn't mean it's working. I know plenty of instances where the effect is showing, but nothing is happening. Especially on Active Scanners.
3) I had a Shotgun/Scanner merge earlier today. I could scan, but couldn't shoot. And after switching weapons, it happened again. All it did was change the position I was holding my Shotgun, and it sounded silenced to me (No idea if anyone else heard it, but the noise wasn't playing). Couldn't scan.

That's not his fault for exploiting that rather just luck of the draw as glitches are concerned that guys level of luck is definatly Prof 5 and urs is -5 for naming him when u have 0 proof that he did it on purpose so shame on you

Also you might want to reread my post again or read it a little more carefully, it would make a lot more sense if you understood the part of running into them not with them.

I'm guessing your him than since you're defending him. And this is clearly a alternative character because of the lack of activity in this account.

Read my post more carefully. I said that rules out the possibility of you running with them. That means that you were opposing him.

okay, that does not mean i was opposing them when you use the word with.... The word "with" by definition means in accompanied by, so the current term to use is running into them.

I recently ran into a team of maphia clan uni unicorn, and this member of the corporation named mnl-its 3. Well this player had used a new exploit where using his Prototype Assault rile and his equipment the scanner to merge together (similar with the sidearm and primary swap glitch). Not only that, he had figured out a way to keep the scanner going while he fires his glitched Scanner Assault rifle. Every direction he look he had successfully scanned everyone within the vicinity while never needing to swap or wait for the recharge of the weapon because the scanner had infinitely fired. Now I finally killed this guy but, even though he had died he still managed to continuously exploit this glitch.
Not what really makes me frustrated is that I don't own any equipment to record this kind of stuff so my experience with this battle is going to be sweep under the rug. This is a very annoying issue to deal with considering that the next generation consoles have the ability to stream or record videos making these kinds of exploits easy to show the developers. I hope a CCP developer will at least acknowledge my experience and tell me that they will try to find out how to replicate this and patch the glitch.

I do not use glitches ... I can do this because the magic of the unicorn its in me *Q*...

Uhm no, it's just a graphic glitch, you don't keep scanning nor you scan while you have this glitch... It may be annoying to see the flash light, but that's it. You were continuously scanned because it's Unit Unicorn's standard equipment, so you were probably being scanned by more than one or two guys.

So you actually typed that I was in his team because you mention team and squad all in the same sentence. So you kinda messed up twice bud. So not only do you need to read more carefully about what i posted but what you posted yourself too.
