Firts of all:
OBJECTIVE: make assault suit the best suit for assault and the logi suit the best suit for support the team
METHOD: change assault and logi suit bonus
Assault Suit Bonus: FROM +5% to dropsuit shield recharge rate per level TO + 2% primary weapons damage per level
Logistics Suit Bonus: FROM +1 HP to dropsuit armor repair rate per level TO 5% reduction to equipment PG/CPU usage per level
AND all equipment slot must be fitted
Now assault its better than logi to assault and True logis can do their job better |

Why should assault have a bonus at all? They don't have to deal with being a heavy, scout or logi therefore not having to alter their boring playstyle or use any brainpower. That should be bonus enough. |

you know at proto level having to fit a standard compact nanohive or nanite injector is not the hard then you can still stack modules. Not much will change.

Assault should have 2% bonus to range of all weapons and+2% radius of all splash damage logis shouldnt be mandated to have all equipment but maybe lose a module slot

Remove grenades from Logi suits. Then the assault and logi will be balanced, the assault with three weapons (light, side and grenade) and the logi with versatility (three equipment and one weapon.)

but the true question is how do we balance assault suit tears? the flow of tears from assault suit players is sooooo OP |

-Change assault bonus to -50% cpu/pg on light and sidearm weaponry and change logi's to -50% cpu/pg on equipment. -Remove logi's slot advantage and give them the same PG/CPU as assaults. -Give them same base stats of stamina, eHP, run speed, walk speed, and shield recharge. -Change +1 armor rep to something more logi based like bonuses to equipment and give all gallente and amarr dropsuits +1-2 internal armor rep to match caldari and minmatar's higher base shield regen and shield recharge time.
Logi can still assault but they'll be missing out on assault bonus. Cant use base stat differences as an argument because they wont be different. |
