Hey CCP! Have you ever thought about going into showbiz? I was just thinking. It would be cool to see a Dust movie or EVE. You should base it off the game and hire actors to play the roles of certain Ceo's/Mercs. I would pay to see something like that. Make it about a previous PC battle that took place. The general public would see it as a action packed movie, however, for us players...we would know every character and aspect of what's going on or what is about to happen. Just a suggestion. I think the community would really enjoy it, even if it's a cheap production, produced and directed by you guys. A few other gaming company's made movies based on their games, or sold the rights to them anyway. They did pretty good in sales. Given that Dust/EVE is unique as it is, it might be rather successful. Someone give me some feedback. |

I hope its a reinaction of EVE wars and such.
Refunding a few AUR militia Blueprints pertaining to vehicles because their respective modules will not exist anymore

They'll be doing both, most likely. Doing the former only would start to get silly after a while, and doing the latter only would pervert the whole concept behind the show.

The show is going to be based on the collection of stories CCP gathered during the "True Stories" project (you can actually buy the book, which is a compilation of all those stories).
In all likelihood, many many names will be changed, as well as many events. Lets face it, nobody would ever take the show seriously if it followed D*ck McDickerson from the Knobgobblers corporation.

The tag line for the TV series is this:
"Based on a true story that happened 20,000 years into the future."
Basically, it will be based on all the historical events. Probably from the mo0 aggressors all the way to the Jita riots and the battle of Asakai.
CCP, thank you for hotfixing the knives. But please make sure they're at their full potential in 1.7.

I suppose Goonswarm does sound slightly silly for a mega-empire.
They could just refer to it as "The Swarm" making sure to elongate the "arm" part.
It's difficult to describe what I mean through text.

Goonswarm is not really a silly name. I have seen some silly names in the real world endorsed by governments. Wikileaks Task Force anyone?
