Why the hell was it even taken away.
I do not understand.
We can't shoot from the passenger seat? Fine. At least I can look around and provide intel for my driver/team, oh wait.. I cant..

It was removed at the same time for dropships. I honestly don't really mind except when I'm feeling all ADHD and just want to look at the scenery

Dust used to look so beautiful in chromosome, I loved just looking around the battlefield.
I dont want to be in a turret camera view, vulnerable to enemy fire, just to enjoy the view

Usually when I'm in the passenger seat I open up the map and look for tanks to blow up though.

Yes, I do as well but that doesn't change the fact that having Free look in the LAVs was extremely useful for situational awareness and general enjoyance of the game.

I agree, it's something that makes little sense as to why it was removed and makes no sense as to why it hasn't been (re)implemented.

I think this would be a beneficial feature to return to the game.
