Why tell us matchmaking will be made even? To this day i get paired up with blueberrys that dont even know where the trigger button is on there control and the game is over in 4 minutes? This is so frustrating when u get paired up with the worlds worst players with no squad or corp against TOP notch squads and corps. Its making the game very frustrating in recent days when all you do is spawn and die, 90% of the games i play is one team getting redlined, im still on ccps side but i fear you guys are going to lose loyal gamers to this issue. I love this game but its turning into nothinv but bitching about either getting slaughtered or having nobody to kill because everyone is hiding in fear of losing Isk or aur. No hard feelings |

There are a lot of players who play in squads and corporations who are on the same par with anyone who is new . It's just the numbers of that corporation or squad that mask that . I'm not in a squad or a corporation and I do well . My KDR is nice and I get between eight to twenty kills a match and die four to five time between the times I get ten to twenty kills .
There have been matches where I have sniped ( not red lining either ) and went twenty-three and two . Driving one of my tanks and going thirty and zero with two tank kills . Squads and corporations doesn't make a player good . It's that players own incentive and work ethic that contributes to that . Someone who is less than average with an OB on a squad or in a corporation can look like a vet , so it's more along the lines of what one is equipped with and how they use that equipment .
Yes matchmaking is a problem and that's because they don't know the matrix to solve the problem . Once they figure that out then , that will be easy . It's hard to tell what the " powers that be " are doing , so I don't even give that any thought and that might be part of their overall plan . For all you know it , they might LOVE to see and read these rage threads ( not that this is one ) about issues that THEY KNOW that they have . They might spin around in their office chairs laughing about what we write and that might be a way for them to break there daily tension .
You are in G.U.T.Z. and you guys and girls are tough . One of the crews who are known to proto stomp so I don't have any sympathy for you but matchmaking is a problem . I have fought against your crew with new players on my side , where it was eight to ten of your crew and I'm sure that those who represented your crew that day enjoyed themselves a great deal .

And before anyone even waste their time , I didn't say that squads and corporations are worthless but just because someone belongs to either doesn't make their game solid . And those who choose not to weak . Some just haven't found the right time , might feel like they need to work on their overall game first , don't have a mic even though they aren't needed they are helpful or just because they are not ready . There are strong players who don't belong to a squad and corporation and if you discount them it might be to your own loss . You might can help them and they might be able to do the same .

As this pointed out.
The players base is extremely small at the moment. According to Eve-Offline.net, there are only about 4,300 players on at any given hour of the day and that is just on the busiest parts of the day. Therefore, you will often get lopsided matches because there are just not enough players for the matchmaker to work properly. We need more players.
Also, in the current system we have, it won't matter if you win or lose. You still earn the same amount of rewards because there is no system in place to encourage winning.
CCP, thank you for hotfixing the knives. But please make sure they're at their full potential in 1.7.

Thats what i figured sorry tonsound like an a holenon this post butni had 3 new players with me at the time that i was trying to get to commit to the game and they got destroyed so i felt bad |

I really think that people make too much of the small playerbase affecting matchmaking.
When you get no squads placed against 2 or more squads of the same corp, that's just plain bad matchmaking. Those squads should be placed on opposite sides in the same game, not the same side! That should never happen, even if there are only 32 people online!
