All that matters is recently! I didn't even bust out my scores from when I was still using the super UP gallente logi before they even introduced ferroscale plates and one complex was 10% move penalty! Still going hard against the FotM! (Although I got my ass handed to me a couple times)

I went 4-1 in my one and only PC match...good enough for first place on my team! :(
We were new (I believe almost the entire team was running standard gear) to the game and this was our first experience with PC...so naturally we were tasked with going up against a corp that was right around tenth at the time (Ill Omens? Internal Error? One of those two.) At least I can take pride in having blown up one of their tanks with a standard SL and not having actually been killed them. My corp leader accidentally ran me over at the very last second (before we were cloned out) trying to get away from another tank that I was trying to take down.
So, yeah, my epeen is pretty spectacular :)

It's funny because you never see a really good player talk about the great games they have had. Partially because they have had so many, but also because the average players do all the talking for them.
For a good player, being in the top 3 for kills is expected/normal...nothing to brag about. Those who feel like they have something to prove tend to let everyone know how good they did in a PC or pub. For those exceptional players, its just another day in the office.

Not that you can correlate the previous behavior to people that tend to be average, but far better and more dubious a claim, that it is what makes them average. And all along I could have told all the noobs that getting gud doesn't involve hard work and talent, but simply the removal of this behavior they all must be suffering from. 
3.) Actually, quite the opposite. If you'd like I can find where Tryhard514 who was among the best of all time, used the match vs Hellstorm and other matches to combat Xero's and others assertions he wasn't a skilled player. When people tried to say xero wasn't a factor he left the war room posting scores and saying "my scores do the talking", and arguably the best player to ever play dust James5955 used the match pfbhz beat imps back in chrome to demonstrate his relevancy.

4.) My list just since I left TP is getting pretty long, hehe. which really only means I've played pc's not that i was a factor in any of them.

I'm decent with about a year of experience in Dust. I'm not the greatest shooter out there but you'd be surprised at how adaptable I can be and just how much "heart" I have on the field.
