Dude you can probably flatten out that KDR to 2 pretty easily, with that WL ration you are sitting pretty.

If you really care about kdr just wait till you become rich and you can buy a higher kdr. They are not cheap but if you Care about it need you need to throw ISK at it.

NO, K-D ratio is easily padded. (There are lots , LOTS of players with 5+ K-D ratio taht have it just because they are always proto stomping, sniping with thales, using rail tanks from behind the red line, pay isk to players to let them kill them while another one revives him to get multiple kills and no deaths per game, etc...And this players it does not mean they are good...) Or you can simply keep playign,im sure you'll get a higher K-D over time.
K-D is meaningles considering the good W-L ratio you have... :3
K-D can be Padded. W-L Is harder to obtain. |

Kill to death will will fluctuate due to the way this game is in constant state of balance and rebalance therefore is something not worth worring too much about SKILLPOINTs on the other hand are what you want to get as high as possibe if you delete your character you loose them. |

My KDR started at .26 I've now raised it to .56, which is about the level of player I am.
Just play smarter. Your KDR will rise. |

My KDR used to be low as ****. It's a pointless, meaningless stat, but mine used to be < 1.
My KDR has increased to roughly 2.3 just by getting better and smarter at the game.
Never give up!
(although a meaningless stat like this isn't worth worrying about IMO...)

I can somewhat define the value of SP.
KDR, not so much.
Look at snipers with 146/1 KDR.
Boosters with 137 kills in a single match.
It's trivial, if anything.
But that 2.75m SP invested in a just a Proto suit, not to mention the other 5m minimum you need to run it, is a grind I'd rather not revisit, with or without Active/Passive Boosters.

Funny story though, I'm not a fps gamer so when I first started I was very much a stat person, nothing great but I had a 2.5-3.5 range, which made me afraid to try new things because those stats would suffer, which essentially killed a lot of the joy in the game.
As silly as it sounds, I gave my little cousin the controls to play as to destroy my characters kdr, lol I actually could not watch him play without feeling wrong, but since then I've tried whole bunch of things, goofed off with suicide runs or ridiculous builds, and the fun part is that my kdr never goes down due to what he did to the character.

Meh it's your choice. Kdr doesn't matter once your an established known player imo. And once you give up about kdr the game becomes more fun.
I used to have an 8kd as a heavy hmg in chromosome. But then I started to run the dragonfly scout to save money for my corp to use in PC and that's what made me choose to go scout in uprising. The scout was so much fun and I dont Mind that my kdr lowered to 3.8.
It's alot more fun once you stop worrying. Until you start to get bored of the game and stop playing like me

If you want a higher K/D, don't play Ambush. Ambush's random spawns and short duration encourages camping, protostomping and HAVstomping. Also only play in a squad. If you don't play in a squad, you'll end up joining tons of half finished matches where your side is getting stomped, or where the enemy team has 2 squads and you have none.
Also, if you have not been playing for a considerable amount of time, K/D is easy to raise. Mine is still rising consistently since I stopped soloing as much. My K/D solo in modes like Ambush was 0.8. It was ridiculous, usually due to full squads of protostompers on the other side camping the spawns. My K/D is currently 1.7, and rose 0.02 today, even in mostly standard gear. My average K/D tonight was probably 4.0-5.0 when I was in a squad of corpmates. I flew solo in Ambush at downtime and was protostomped severely both times and got slightly less than a 1.0 across both matches. At least half of my deaths were instantaneous as I spawned in. The difference between going 20/4 and going 2/4 is a game mode that isn't a clustercluck and a good squad.

I made an alt shortly after CCP started the Academy. When I graduated the Academy with my Alt, I had a 12 Kd/R. Less than 10 battles out of the Academy, my alt Kd/R dropped to around 6.
My main (Master Jaraiya) who never saw the Acedemy has a Kd/R of 1.83.
Kd/R doesn't mean **** in a game where you are not evenly matched with your opponents.
