why do the anti-vehicle bombs only have 750 hit power (Prox Mines) and the anti-personnel bombs have 1500 hit power (Remote Bombs)...?
shouldn't be the other way around...?

This my friend...is why you don't see proxy mines being put on suits. Imo proxy mines should be buffed. Let the tankers be wary of not paying attention to the warning sounds!

          well with proximity mines.
u lay them down and forget about them for the rest of the match.
  with remote explosives.

u lay them down and have to watch until somthing step on them so u can press your button and blow them up yourself. |

I think this is right on.
Demolitions is not specifically anti-personnel or anti-vehicle. The proxy mines are lay and forget, where as the remotes require interaction to work. I think it is a good balance. The proxy mines do need a MUCH quicker detonation though.

You can place more proxies than REs, and when it comes to laying a trap for vehicles I think I prefer having the damage spread over an area, rather than hoping the vehicle will drive over that small part of road.
But, yeah, those numbers are a bit back arsewards.
 No.

Lay down a combination of mines in the correct pattern and you can clean house with explosives you can no longer see.

I'm just thinking that personnel mines should be about 1200 hp and the vehicle mines should be like 2000 each...
cause 1 people bomb should kill in 1 shot, but you should have to lay all the car bombs you can carry to kill the cars....

More like punished even more for getting nerfed with ammo.
"guys, how can we nerf tanks more?" "I know, force them to resupply!" "Dunno, they can probably just call a teammate to drop a hive, can't they?" "No, They'll have to go to one or two points on every map, which will be camped by EVERY AV player in the entire game, and crammed full of proxy mines" "so after the first minute or so of combat, a tank is basically just a fancy coffin since you can't resupply and we never bothered to make points for anything other than killing?" "yup. lets get donuts!" "yay, donuts, I hope they have the ones with the sprinkles today."
If you hear the words "WORTH IT!" look about, something hilarious just happened.

Supposedly a proximity mine will detonate a remote explosive, so by mixing the two you can get much beefier proximity mines. |

You gotta get a good 5-10 seconds when you don't get killed...tank rolls over the remote explosive...does nothing, as soon as the proximity explosives go off 1-2-3...tap RE1.
Rinse and repeat....will freaking destroy most tanks (except enforcers loaded down with shield/armor)
its spectacular to see....if you want to double 'em up side by side, do it....blow those things SKY FREAKING HIGH ;) |

Dude, have you taken a look at proxy mines more closely. There is nothing wrong with them. You can do up to 11, 250 in DMG and all you have to do is set them up and walk away. Easiest thing ever. |
