Because I actually used them the way they were supposed to be used. Granted it was hard to lock onto infantry, but i also did my part in vehicle repairs. It was a fun, and different experience from the usual killing.

Tossing the Shield on my friendly heavy, then adding a core focused just to make sure... On occasion having a Limbus add to the party.

LLAV neede to have am AoE repair tool and not a hardlock one.
Also, I would have liked to see an infantry ammo module as well. |

I am sure we can see them come back, In a role as clearly as defined as the Assault Dropship, I mean there may be some starving vehicles needing resupply and the LLAV could become the solution.
This isn't like the Murader HAVs which where removed for thier invincibility.

Wow, I can't believe I didn't think of that role for LLAVs. Perhaps LDSs could do the same, like aerial refueling.

and now you see why the vehicles in specialist nature are getting removed? I have my fingers cross hoping they call comeback just as special.

So the logi vehicles were removed because they could nullify the point of adding limited ammo?
That seems pretty easy to fix. Logi vehicles equipped with supply depots have a finite amount of nanos that they must refill at supply depots. (Also allow them to use their supply themselves through an option on the wheel).
