I've been using the SCR Rifle since RELEASE.
The only thing i always complain about ARs is the fact they OUTRANGE my SCR when my weapon is supposed to outrange the AR.
Makes me mad Butthurt AR users are trying to get the SCR nerfed jsut because it has high alpha damage. |

People need an excuse for playing bad. Knocking the weapon that kills them somehow invalidates their poor decisions.
"That guy had an AR, it doesn't matter that I was in the open rushing him with my scout suit. DOESN'T COUNT because AR!"
"SCR is OP, took me out in less than 1 sec! Nevermind that I was standing still like Rainman counting toothpicks! It was the SCR!!" |

The only reward in DUST is SP.
The best way to get more SP from the viewpoint of CCP is to buy Boosters.
From the players stance it is get more WP. More kills, objectives hacked/rehacked, downers revived, ammo shared and such is pretty much the entire list. The best way to enhance the WP per match, thus increasing the SP per match, is better weapons. Those mentioned will normally produce more WP.
There is no matchmaking nor a method to permit or bar the use of anything, even though that was talked about in Closed Beta nor promises were made that I know of.
DUST is a grinder, in that we grind for SP.
To shorten the grind use better gear
which earns more WP
which makes more SP
which means you play for less time
which means you spend less time grinding
Its a win/win situation. Unless you catch one of the core locus grenades with your face.  |
