When myself and innumerable hordes of my fellow "casuals" fall against the wall of assault rifles, who's range rivals that of most other weapons, and subsequently murder their targets in 0.5 seconds, and the constant complement of grenade spam, I can't help but sigh.
But I'm tired of getting aggrevated by it. So I improvise. What's the best way to get war points when all of the capturable installations are captured and locked down? When all of my enemies are "ub3r133t" statues of hatred and remorselessness who I have no chance against mano-e-mano? Two words;
Vroom. Vroom.
With a simple call and a slight delay, I'm on my way to making some MO-FO's pay. Pay for their stubbornness. Pay for their uncreativness. Pay for...well....stomping the wrong n00b.
They amass themselves in a big 'ol blob, almost like they're asking for it. I know they might have AV 'nades, so I come from behind. They didn't drop any soap, but I'm about to make them wish they'd lathered up. A few seconds and some tire-sqeals later, I've turned one of those demi-gods into a Texas hood ornament, or a tasty road-crepe. And it feels good. Feels real good, man.
I invite other noobs to do the same. Milita LAV's are cheap, and pop like a rotten blueberry (the food, not the derogitory term), but they get the job done. The point of this thread? None, really. I just could, so I did.
Happy flattening. |

This is very similar to my strategy. I first create my own squad to join pubs. This way I'm more likely put into games with other squads instead of all randoms. At least that's how it feels to me, I haven't tested it out. I can just jump into a full squad after I join. Then, when the protobears come out to play I hop in my Onikuma with active scanner and shield booster and it's murder taxi time! I mostly use the vehicle as a mobile cover for my team/transport. I sometimes just drive a big circle around the protobears so the scanner gives my team a clear idea of the pack, dodging swarms and hiding in open crates for cover. During all this I will try and pick off stragglers with road kills. A lot of people think they can hide next to a wall or crate for safety because they aren't in the open. NOPE! I charge right at them and activate my shield booster before impact. Dead stop on impact. Dead proto in my grill. Others think they're tough guys because they can take a full vehicle hit. Pshh, I just hop out after a side swipe and SMG/SCR the rest of that health bar and hop back in, rinse-repeat. On one map (can't recall the name) I actually drive into a buildings stairwell near Alpha and Bravo. You can wiggle your way almost all the way to the top effectively blocking the stairs. I've literally just rammed forward and then in reverse repeatedly racking up kills on anyone in the stairwell trying to shoot me, mitigating small arms fire with shield booster. Obviously, if your enemy has any brains a few grenades (or 1 AV nade) is the downfall here since you're effectively trapped, but itGÇÖs still hilarious to get even 1 kill like this. With the upcoming vehicle locks I assume I'll be using this strategy more and more. I usually survive 1 std swarm but 1 AV nade will OHK my murder taxi for sure as I have invested 0SP into vehicle stuff. |

Ditto, as far as SP go. Still might when I can afford to, but again, I'm a noob. Gotta save the SP for suit/weapon skills. |
