Basically there is no current use for the first person view in a dropship, except it makes it a tad easier to aim at another dropship in the assault dropship. I was thinking what anyone thinks of having the right analog stick pan around when in first person mode instead of yaw. This would give pilots an easier way to target things when in first person mode, but still leaves third person for when you may need to fire while on the move (killing those bloody tanks)
Though I may need to bump this later as everyone seems to be freaking out over vehicle respec

I don't see why we can't have the EVE method of targeting and firing while worrying about trajectory and popping the appropriate modules. It doesn't have to be exact on the targeting, just a ballpark target area.
If the pen is mightier than the sword, in a duel I'll let you have the pen!

I wouldn't mind the idea, but I don't imagine the idea being very widely liked.
