 If not for us vets who played endless hours of Skirmish 1.0 on it, for the newbs who've only gotten to hear of it in legends from us oldtimers.
 
 Skirmish 1.0 would be nice too, but at the very least bring back the map for socket testing.

 Skirmish 1.0 was awesome because it wasn't exactly "Fair".
 
 The attacker had to overcome the challenge of assaulting a place that was already defended.
 
 Such is the way actual war is, it's not even unless the factions are trying to claim unclaimed land at the same exact time.

Such is the way actual war is, it's not even unless the factions are trying to claim unclaimed land at the same exact time. I would love to play on it again, it was truly epic.
 
 Remember how you could die before your field of vision loaded?

TBH, I would hope with the amount of time that has passed since the first time we heard that, they'd have been able to update the Craterlake design to play nicely with the new system.
