I can do a Barrel roll on the towers, smooshing 3-4 guys like a rolling pin, but I cant pull it off in air. I do love the loopty loop. It has saved my cheap ships many of times. Still HATE the drop ship view. Make's it near impossible to fly for non assault ships. You REALLY fked that up. A Shitstorm is coming...........

(Kill your burners once you're at 45-¦ then hit them again just as soon as you're past 180-¦. Requires a bit of practice, and I wouldn't suggest trying it on maps with towers everywhere.) That'd be awesome That's effectively what I was thinking yeah, the triggers(L2, R2) would be used to increase thrust on the relevant size, while the shoulders (L1, R1) would decrease. This does however mean that changing altitude uniformly is a 2 button operation and you would need another button for firing and aiming your main gun. That's assuming they ever give them back. I mean prehaps because of the anologue function on the triggers, we could use them without the shoulders? Continue to hold thrusters as you push and hold your left analog stick all the way to the left/right depending on which way you want to roll. At about 30 degrees into your roll, release thrusters, keeping left analog stick firmly in position. As soon as you pass 90 degrees (the horizon should be vertical), hit reverse thrusters and hold until you arrive at 270 degrees (horizon is once again vertical), then upwards thrusters. Release left analog stick once you're upright again. Do not touch the right analog stick throughout the procedure. You will probably end up lower than your original position, so you aren't exactly performing a roll like a fighter, more like describing a lowercase "e". "When nothing is going your way, go out of your way to do nothing."
