What are you going to do? There are over 100 threads about this.
The number of players requesting respecs is forever increasing.
And Forever will be.
PLUS i'll give you, CCP, The REAL reason you need to give us a respec:
GÖª People that DONT want them are having fun.AND They are scared people that NEED them will overpower them once they get the same level of equipment/skills.
GÖª People that WANT them are not having fun, or will soon not be able to due to stat changes, vehicle removals ,etc...
THE GAME IS GETTING BORING CCP.
The least you can do is give it some ''fresh scent'' and let us test different combinations.
People want to test other weapons, and suits, sure , some Try hard scrubs WILL go CAL/GAL logi with AR/SCR but tis not like we already have every ''Elite'' (hhihihiihuhuhu, sorry) player playing like this already....What does 1 or 2 more Proto Ar/SCR/CORE Locus- logi change? Even if they are 100-200 more?: Ahh... there it is. If many people jump to the FOTM, Current FOTM users wont have an unfair advantage....LOL @ you.
So give us a respec.
Players that DIDNT really want a respec wont request it and if made nevertheless they will spend their SP in the SAME stuff.
Let FOTM chasers go FOTM.This way you can identify it and study it to see if its OP or if its the rest of the stuff UP.
Let people who want something new the chance to try something new....
I used to LOVE running SCR. I like weapons few people use. Now everyone and their mothers are using this next to AR's. They STILL SUCK and are ez to kill as hell,but it doesnt feel..''mine'' anymore....

LET ME , fight at the same level as others in my SP level.Believe it or NOT , a Skill respec might even bring some balance to the game, contrary of what selfish players thinking only in their experience will tell you.

Respec for Uprising came because of drastic changes to the skill tree, skill bonuses and the items skills unlocked. Unless we see another one of those I doubt we will ever get anything more than a partial respec, and that is that. If CCP starts giving away respecs it will set a precedent that forum warriors will use to hound their arses until they're forced to implement a full respec system.
I've made mistakes too. For one, I don't have proficiency in assault rifles. Also I skilled into both dropship variants, which means I lose money twice as fast because when I'm bored of one I use the other. I've skilled into weapons I don't use like the sniper rifle. I've skilled into turrets even when gunners in dropships can't shoot for their lives due to the aim reset.
I think if you just turn around now and start spec ing into what you want to spec into, you will have everything you need before CCP even begins discussions about a respec

That is a pretty good summary... its also because ccp HAS NOT released core content and many players have had to spec into other suits and vehicles that they normally would not have given the opportunity upon release to choose.
I cannot imagine, and do not want to play, a game that actively penalised me for wanting to play the game to a competitive standard, but failed to incorporate all racial content day 1 release, and made me give up X amount of time in my life to not have to opportunity to play the role I originally wanted to.

Constantly giving out respecs as everything is getting balanced inefficiently is pointless. Once CCP comes out with all final versions of racial suits and weapons and balanced everything to the best of their ability, then give one last respec.
The only real way to balance everything in the game would be to balance it all together into one update; test it out, apply changes, test it out, investigate how it could be used with other items, test it out, and so on.
It would take a LONG time to do but in the end if done correctly we won't need to worry about balancing anymore. We could nag CCP about the map design, core mechanics, animations, special effects, graphics, bugs, and everything else that brings tears streaming down our faces in displeasure.

I only asked for a respec because the new vehicle changes are too much and basically have taken the urge to use them away from me . If I have specked into something that I later regret than I can only chalk that up as a mistake and learn from it , but to as for a respec because you want to " try new items " or because you specked into something that you later regret is foolish and selfish , also unwise .
If CCP asks for feedback and the feedback that one gives matches at least 40 to 50 percent of the feedback that they get then it should be a no brainer . If it's a new DEV and they want to ignore the suggestions and stand on their own soap box and make their own mark by introducing their " new and improved and also game changing " solutions into the mix and they bomb or the collective turn up their noses to their ideals then something needs to be done to compensate for the bad introduction of a bad ideal .
They could have used the best and more frequent ideals and collaborated them into the final presentation . I seriously doubt that the collective said , " lets get rid of mods , slots ( among other changes ) and give a 40 to 60% ( they'll like that and wont feel like and forget about how they are being F#*!ED ) damage increase " that damage increase should have been there from the start because they are tanks . To start we had a 4 to 6% damage resistance on the Soma , Sica , Madrugar and Gunnlogi , don't know the number of the Enforcers and now it doesn't even matter about them .
Something that changes a persons feel about the game to the point to where they are about to walk away in droves , then something should be done . When YOU screw up and place skill points where YOU don't eventually want them or can't use them then that's YOUR fault .

I would like the respec after all racial vehicles and weapons are released or say when they remove the vehicles in exchange for the racial suits and weapons. It would be nice to actually get what we have waited so very patiently for in a flash! After about 3 years of waiting, countless reskills for everything and countless changes to this game it is certainly not seeming at all game breaking to allow reassignment of SP.

How is this relevant? I have 8 million skill points because I primarily play eve. I do just fine, it's not my fault idiots blindly rush protosuits, or don't use flux grenades/locus grenades or for that matter, work as a team, or for that matter avoid confrontation and take the objective via flanking vulnerable positions.
It's not CCP's fault that some people grasp tactics, (to include their fittings) and other people completely don't. If a car runs over a protosuit, it still dies. stop crying. The game is fine. PEWPEW or QQ |
