I just had this idea....what you think?
It would have 3 story levels on it (stairs) some underground levels and the red center lines would be an unbreakable but clear glass so you could watch enemies pass and be helpless to do anything about it....would be fun to radio back to teammates and tell 'em enemies are coming
lots of wide open sniper area in main battlefield, CRU's, rail guns, supply depots...whole nine yards.
Just an idea I had. |

I predict many heavies camping the end of those tunnels. Tears will flow like wine in Paris.
CCP, thank you for hotfixing the knives. But please make sure they're at their full potential in 1.7.

Not to derail the thread or anything but after playing Killzone Shadow Fall Dust maps need help, it's seriously lacking on the scifi futuristic feel.. They need to take notes Dust better be visually breath taking when it comes to PS4 abd lore appealing.. And no different hues of metal isn't breath taking or lore inspiring.. |

No offense, but I think your logic is suffering a bit from the same thing that killed the Stars Wars prequel movies. I like the "fringe of the empire" kind of area we fight over for the most part. Sure there can be parts that are high sci-fi, but this game is supposed to feel a little bit gritty. I like that there is dust and what not on ground, and that the futuristic areas have been worn down a bit.
Watch this open letter and you will get an idea of what I mean:

We don't need this to be Star Wars, but taking a page from their book (well the first movies anyway) is not a bad idea.
The time of your legacy is here. Will you rise?

That map would be freaking awesome, but make the open middle really hilly and with lots of places to take cover, of course leave a road or 2 for jeeps and tanks etc so they aren't left out but definitely make lots of places to hide out from enemy fire,
+1 good ideas :)

Wut...? So maps can't be futureistic with Dust on the ground have you even played the new killzone some maps are gritty as ****.. Some are clean sharp and futuristic you can have both gritty and scifi and imo the current maps don't fit that feeling well..
Also why are you assuming we are an empire at war in the middle of the ghetto ? We can't raid some fancy Caldari dicators office with temperament changing tables or a Gallente diplomatic office in ruins, maybe an Ammar cathedral that has been ransacked by Minmatar activist ? We don't have to always be dropping in on anus peak or likes there of.. :-/ |

M McManus One Caldari Officials office is not big enough for an entire battleground.
You're thinking smaller scaled maps...much smaller. Like HighRise from Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 |

I reckon there should be 3 tunnels, one going to each level of the compounds on either side.
So one tunnel goes from underground to underground, another goes from ground to ground, another is basically an enclosed bridge going from top level to top level. Introduce staircases between tunnels and add a tower in the middle which the tunnels basically converge on to make a big multilevelled area (this can be the point for domination).
