all it takes is some inginuety, no gameplay, and the smats of how to 'hotfix'. it works i belive without PS+. you need a PC, a dumb or smart guy can figure out the rest, if your stumped, then idk, im not telling you how to become invincible, or how to break the game, whitch you probly will do if you mod healths and stuff.
every 1520 years, a leap year counts as 2 years-do your math bro.

You still purposefully modified the game in a way your not supposed to. That is considered hacking whether you used it to just test it or not unless you report the hack to the game creator in which even then they can still ban you. (Meaning sending them the method and not giving out hints to the public). |

ok, ill make it obvios... use a cord, or flashdrive, pud dust on flashdrive, put flashdrive in PC, edit code, you can access the code by means, i havent done this for months btw, or you can 'hotfix' by transferring dust via a USB cord to your PC editing ata moments notice, you get it now?

however it can safely be shoved into the stupid post bin as he has no evidence proof or theory to stake his claim. "mod dust hurr durr" okay how? we don't have access to the server or any of the game files not even our character information, we have a client that allows us access to the game via ID unique to our psn. thus to mod it we would need to mod the client which if I understand correctly has no ability to change game files.

Sweetie, all the data is stored server side. you cant just edit a value on a thumb drive and expect it to be translated over to the actual game.
Unless if you actually have done this, you would need to post a step by step guide on how you did this and email it to [email protected]

Being invincible is boring, and having infinite ISK ruins the money management part i really do like a lot.

I am not a computer science major, but I know C, Objective-C and C#. I've used Unity in the past as well as Xcode. Aside from that, it would be a complete and utter bonehead move to make player data easily accessible client-side.
He's trying to tell us that you can open the client on your PS3 in an editor and switch some numbers and instantly get millions of ISK. Even in a single player game you wouldn't change the code, you'd change the stored data, and in Dust 514 all of the data should be stored on the server, not your PS3. Plus, there's the innate properties of the objects, as you point out.
