A big thank you to DS pilots from a shock trooper though. You are respected above all other vehicle pilots in my book. I'd ask Numnutz's opinion on me as a DS pilot then, because I think he'd have good remarks for myself as well :P Him and I used to fly toe to toe all day long in Dust, perfecting the art of dropship teamwork with other pilots too. When we had our 1v1's, it was literally back & forth, I'd win, he would win, and vic versa. Numnutz you better squad with me again sometime soon, I'm missin those days.
Serimos you crazy b@stard it's good to see you back on dust. You are indeed one of the best pilots I've had the privilege of flying with. I remember when we first met, arguing on the forums about gunners and tactics, then got into a battle together, I killed you then you killed me  was a great way to meet.
In terms of pilot gun you out class me sir, your ability to slay infantry is second to none in my book. Though I am much better at giving gunners good angles. This is why I don't think there is a best pilot in dust, there are ace pilots good pilots and bad pilots.
Condor squad was filled with ace pilots back in the day, all of them extremely skilled. Flying with 5 other equally skilled pilots was an amazing opportunity and such incredible fun. I hope to replicate it someday.
Serimos I'd love to squad up with you again mate, I miss having a good reliable wing man!

It's great to see familiar faces from Condor Squad still around, especially when it includes aces that I had crazy cool games with. It's that kind of "rivalry" that all dropship pilots should have, one where it's actually friendly and you also team up with them to work together.
Relationships like these between pilots is what will make dropships truly useful in pub matches, etc (as long as they fix railguns). Because there's literally nothing more deadly than a fleet of ace dropship pilots who know how to aim and fly close quarters and in vast, open areas.

Evolution 7 - best dropship pilot in Dust 514 - thats his official title as well.
hes good because he actually has incredible spacial awareness, better than anyone i have seen in this game so far. so while others are incredibly good pilots in terms of maneuvering, Evo can do the same moves, but still know where the enemy is, the bridge thats getting close and the tank in the distance thats a risk.
All of the above makes him perhaps the best out there, take a ride with him, he knows each map very well and does things with dropships i just cant believe. (check my videos for proof heh) |
