I was watching the Eve Vegas 2013: Dust 514 - Past, Present, and Future video and it got me thinking.
First off I'd like to say I LOVE both Eve Online and Dust 514 and all the haters out there just need to give it a rest!! The things you all have done and the things that are possible to be done; excite me so much that it's almost overwhelming at times. And I think you all should be commended. So keep up the great work!!
Okay enough of that, the main reason why I started this topic was because since I'm a casual player in both Eve and Dust and I can't dedicate the time into either because of real life to ever compete with a lot of the players in either game it would be nice to see some type of PVE experience in Dust. Eve in my opinion does a alright job on giving players options to do other things solo that doesn't require a corp or a bunch of time in planning and execution.
My question, could we ever see a time when I could take my Eve ship (such as an explorer) pick up my Dust clone and go find some uncharted moon/planet, and then drop down and explore further????? Once on the planet maybe even come across alien life (which i know is probably a nightmare to think about executing properly) but a simpler alternative could be to use drones since this is already done in Eve with rouge drones. I think this is a great way to incorporate and link both the Eve Universe and Dust 514. It also gives the no so good players a way to maybe improve upon their skills, without the stress and frustration of getting PROTO-STOMPED.  I understand that battle matching players is probably an extremely difficult process to sort out and that's why a PVE option I feel is needed. Now I guess you already have me and I don't see myself playing any other fps as exclusively as I do with Dust so there might not be a need, but it would be REALLY nice.

At this point I just want the maps opened up and filled with drones. That way you could have friends in EVE scan down drone sites for you, then you could race there in your dropships, trying to beat the competition to the punch, so that you and your friends can salvage the rare loot in peace.
PvE is vital to this games long term success, as it is the perfect entry point for new players, and a great place for vets to go when they get tired of stomping said new players. Plus, it's just cool as ****.

We are talking about ways at the mo to add more MMO into the game, as for picking yourself up goes, its highly unlikely.
Lore wise, we have bascially a whole pilots pod worth of tech and more stuffed into our clones that allow us to clone jump to wherever the hell we like.
just send the bodies ahead and jump on over, thats how it works.
Though ages ago, CCP was thinking about a single player/squad exploration mode, but who knows when/if ever that may happen.

While you're talking about PvE, don't forget to mention PvPvE.
I want PvE too, but I also want to be able to Ambush some poor farmer schmucks while their preoccupied with their PvE farming without queuing an Ambush lobby (I think needing to pay attention so it didn't happen to me would be fun too).
