Ahaha, suddenly my bpo assault costs 37k to restock. So instead of fixing the actual problem- speed refilling and tossing cores from a cloud of hives, you jump the price from 3800 to 14150.
Well played guys. One less hard counter to proto stomping. Didn't want those new/seminew players anyways. |

Nope, i'm certain i could replace my bpo suit for ~23000 and now it's 37000. M1's cost ~3000, wyrikomi av's cost 5000 something and cores cost 14150.
I do my best to run the cheapest fits that ensure maximum damage. Hoarding isk like I do just appeals to the junior economist inside of me. |

Your reasoning that prototype grenades are the hard counter to protostomping is somewhat flawed.
Sure, running prototype gear DOES counter prototype gear, but the grenades themselves when used by protostompers are way more effective than when used on BPO suits like yours unless you're great at cooking grenades whilst avoiding fire from damage-modded Duvolles from 60m away which burn away BPO suit armour faster than you can say 'holy hand grenade'.
So do they counter protostompers? Yes. But protostompers use them much more effectively to stomp.

So do they counter protostompers? Yes. But protostompers use them much more effectively to stomp. Reading comprehension. I said ONE. One of the hard counters. And yes I am good at cooking nades. I regularly dump on some of the less intelligent proto users. 'Avoiding fire' I don't think you understand how to bait and cook properly.
Really good stompers use them to great effect and that's fine. It's far easier to kill me with a duvolle if you have a shot but I've died to cooked cores plenty as well. Either way, chances are good that I'm dead if I screw up or go head on.
The point is that stompers will use whatever gear at whatever cost and lower sp players don't have that luxury. I advocated grenade V a lot to those wishing to stand on sort of even ground with stompers given they learn the proper cooking tricks. Now this option is costed out of range to newer players but proto nerds can still have them.
Like I said, didn't want those new/seminew players anyways~ |

Grenades in general need to do much less damage. Costing more isk isn't an issue for players that can run prototype suits all the time since they have 500 mil +
I shouldn't take upwards of 1300 damage at the edge of its blast radius from a freaking grenade that only says it can deal 600. Doesn't make any sense, especiallly when I have a 300 hp shield buffer that should at least cut the damage in half...but no, apparently grenades can wipe out another 600 armor on top of that.

Careful, you know what happens when you state things in an almost un bias manner, the idiots can't understand it and start making up deluded stories contrary to what is in front of them lol
