If you disconnect in a dropsuit, you should not lose that dropsuit because of a disconnect or server issue -- this is especially true if people have paid actual money (aurum) for their stuff, as what kind of robbery is that?
Likewise with vehicles; I have lost several tanks since I started playing this game, all of them costing more than I can earn in 2+ matches, because of "Server is unavailable at this time" & various other reasons for disconnects. Twice today this has happened, and by golly I am not happy about it. I do not see how it would be abuse-able -- you wouldn't be getting any isk & sp you earned up to that point, just whatever you were "wearing" / "driving" at the tie of the disconnect. |

I feel the same way . I have lost tanks , turrets , dropsuits and gear because of connection problems and when I put up a thread about it all people had to say was , " this is because of people loosing and quitting on their games " , but I have to ask , " can't their computers tell when someone has lost connection ??? " That has to be a different type of signal than when someone just hits the power button on their play station .
Computers are rigged to notice connections and strength of signals . You wont get any sympathy out of any of these people . I have lost Aurum items as well and would think that if you lost a signal then you would at least have the use of those Aurum items but that's a no as well . I feel your pain and can relate to you . I'm in the south now and I'm from Chicago and that's one of the things that I just don't like about where I am . The signal reception is so bad here that it's a wonder that I can play a game . All the while that I have had my internet connection , I haven't had a month , much less a week where my signal hasn't gone out .

You do realize that even if you disconnect you receive ISK and SP based off how long you were in the battle, right? |

I did not, however it won't compare to the investment of a tank, let alone any aurum items someone's lost : /. |
