My last short stories thread got locked because too much time had passed but here I am again and this time so as not to make it too ridiculous with the stories taking up posts, I'm going to use Google documents.

New Story. The Armory.
This is the armory.
I tried a new style with this one and I have to say I'm not 100% happy with how it came out, probably because it's such a drastic change to what I'm used to in my fiction. If I had to compare this one to anything it would be Speaks and Walks except much shorter. I'm hoping I properly conveyed what I was going for and did not mess up.
Feedback would be appreciated.

That my friendly knighted part of avian anatomy depends on one's definition of short, which in the end is different from person to person.  Still I understand what you mean though, it is one of my longer pieces and I actually cut it short because more was going to happen and then I figured it was getting too long.
