I don't use the KNIFE? I have Prof 5 minny proto I've been knifing since chromosome you don't want my advice fine but don't comment on sh*t you know nothing about. I was just trying to help u don't knife headon you will lose. |

I would've assumed he meant when your stalking somebody to go in for the kill and then they don't stop moving.
If he does mean people backing up from him, which I hope he doesn't....yeeeeeeeeah.

Thats why they made cardiac mods use one an wait till they stop running close the distance an that's how it's done, watch your endurance meter |

who said that he was facing them? I got nothing but respect for you musturd, but I think you might be missing the point here.
Even when trying to chase someone down, you gotta stop to charge the knives. At current walk speed, you have to spend almost 4 seconds walking to cover that measly 2m to close the distance (we only walk .5m/s faster. 2m/0.5 = 4 seconds which is entirely too long)
It gets aggravating, and if you sprint into their back, you run the risk of overshooting them if they take a sudden step backwards.
Also, I agree with you on the running into fire. Rush the reload right?

The points this:
Do you have the 25% minmatar scout bonus to damage?
Do you have nova knive proficiency damage
If you don't are you using a damage mod?
Are you attacking a wiggling target?
Do you have a cardiac regulator so you can always close the distance?
Do you have the 25% profile damping from a proto suit an skills in profile dampening?
Are you attacking from your radar or letting them know your close by scanning them?
Do you have range skills to not scan?
Do you always stay out of their line of sight?
Do you attack when stalking after their endurance is out and their walking?
Stay away from caldari assaults?
If your in a basic or adv suit an have no proto damage an running adv knives YOU MUST CHARGE, making it a pain, if you have a proto an proficiency blades you hardly need to charge hit anyone, keep in mind armor got a huge buff more people tank so you need proto blades an high damage or you ll always have to charge |

All I know is, I'm tired of chasing guys for 200M+ to even have a chance of hitting them once.

I'm going to assuming you meant your targets "backpedaling" after doing everything in your power to sneak up from behind in the first place. In that case, I would say "yes" to letting us sprint with the charge held. Either that or don't let the knives interrupt our sprint when using instant slashes.
In the meantime, just reserve your charged attacks for stationary targets such as mercs hacking your objective.
CCP, thank you for hotfixing the knives. But please make sure they're at their full potential in 1.7.
