Well think about.
CCP is currently giving 100 copies to anyone who doesn't play for two months, so everyone who wants some is making their alts inactive for a free 100 copies of them
CCP is doing an event where you get 50 free black eagles for free, and can get even more suits if you kill someone with a 'Black Eagle' weapon.
Honestly, I was prepared to pay around 10mil ISK per suit when (if) the p2p market opens up. But now that practically everyone has at least 50 (including myself), I wouldn't pay more than 500k for one.

I wouldn't buy one at all by the time the market is out because either a) I'll already have my proto scout by then, or b) is so far off into the future, I'm not sure if I'll still be playing anymore. |

Wasn't it supposed to have 2 light weapon slots, or do I have it confused with something else? Sorry if I do, I'm am old you know.:-)

Until a scout has more of a survivability rate, the black eagle will be hard to use. I wish the best of Luck to those who try and complete the task that CCP has given. Also the suit does have two light weapon slots. If it had a little more CPU/PG I would run a Gek/ SW combo.

It only have one light slots.
The Black Eagles AR is a not a light weapon it a side arm.

to make the black eagle shine
you just have to know how to use a scout
I went 16-4 on an alt with no skills in gallente scout and half the core skills I have on my main
now my main is a maxed out racial gallente with over 11mill in dropsuit upgrades
my main is also pro lvl 3 on both the AR & SG
this advanced black eagle scout is more then meets the eye
im almost sure the suit has hidden stats more then just the base speed

Someone mentioned this in another thread and I agree, these suits are test suits. Maybe CCP is crunching numbers or so. Also it would be senseless to try to keep these suits for the market. I think CCP already thought of that and will in the future make them not that valuable. Again, I believe these are test suits. |

I read this earlier this week
I believe it says on the events page when you load dust
you get 50 free copies of the black eagle scout to compete in the event "not keep"
for every 5 kills you get with a BES you get to keep 1 BES
so that should bring a little value back into them
so if your planning on just sitting on them
hoping they will still be in your inventory after the event
I believe your mistaken

we are keeping the dropsuits they have given us, and for every 5 kills we get with them, we get another one given to us at the end.
theres also another even coming up at the end of this one, the prize for the end of the month is that youl be able to obtain a prototype copies of your favorite weapon or the copis of the quafe scout dropsuit.
