Incredibly high damage, reasonable RoF on tanks, FREE installations all across the map, easy to aim, low risk high reward.
I can't be the only one who thinks railguns are the the true noob tube of DUST.

But one swarm or forge gun and they're gone. They're like a dropship with prototype turrets. It can devastate but only when nothing notices it.
They need to be way more tanky, with like a small turret on top. Installations are meant to change the battlefield dynamics, but right now they're gone in a few seconds if one team so wished.

They mostly just incite rage when I'm flying, since you rarely get to respond after the first shot, since you have to fix your flight path from being knocked around. Basically if their aim is halfway reasonable and you don't already have your afterburner activated, you're toast.
This is a QQ thread, through and through. Just have to wait till 1.7 I guess.

Blasters and AR are the noobtoobs.
Rails actually require a bit of aim to use reasonably well.

No they're like a dropship except with more HP and behind a redline that if anyone gets anywhere near them for more than 10 seconds they die.
Try again.
redline rails are stupid
and redline rail turrets shouldnt even spawn back there.
