Whether you have a score to settle with an individual or simply want to prove your skills one on one, there are currently no game modes in DUST 514 to allow you and a solitary opponent to duke it out face to face. Try it in a public match and you'll be gunned down by your enemies and laughed at by your team for not being a team player. Luckily, there is a place for people to scratch their one-on-one itch.
It's called the Thunder Dome and it runs every week from 20:00 on Saturday to 02:00 on Sunday.

I kind of feel bad about suggesting this, as I am the one who benefited, but this is a great demonstration of the dust community being really nice and supportive, no strings attached; and is relevant since you mention my community spotlight in your post. Every one of there people, like the OP, needs some recognition for their altruism.
