I need a midrange weapon something bad, MD can't cut it outside of close/close-mid range, just get melted.

The combat and rail rifles do look promising, hopefully we get mlt variants as well to test them out on alts. |

CCP is doing a Blammy and buffing the range on the op AR even more in 1.7
Just look at the new weapon stats thread.
Who needs a TAR in 1.7 when you can just use a range buffed AR?

Yo when we get a bit more racial parity I wanna get the main Amarr FW players and have an all out scrap with the Minmatar guys...which means we're going to need to appropriate some corps district, that or pay them to let us fight over it.

I'm just hoping it isn't as derp as the AR's Burst variant. The Burst HMG is pretty decent though, so maybe there's hope...

Sitting on enough SP to go proto on day one. But I'm going to play it safe and test it on an alt first.
I tried to put a level into Amarr Commando once, but got a server notification saying "Why?"

They're actually not touching the range on it. Unless they stealth buffed it since 1.2 (Std optimal was 40m and effective was 65m).

i'm doing same. gonna get to lv4 on an alt to see how the assault combat rifle works and if i like it. if so then i have enough SP to go straight to prof 5 on day one :D

Not totally true, i use NKs,SGs,and PLC as welll, my favorite non Matari weapons, but i'm petty bad with galente weapons besides the AR (like i could be bad with an AR)

Ill be going standard level on the rail rifles the day they come out. I like the way their described to work and ittl give my scout a hell of a range option other than a scrambler.

ive been playing with the Burst AR in anticipation for the combat rifles arrival.
its not anywhere near as bad as people say, especially if you pair it with an SMG for when things get to close for comfort |

I hope the ammo doesn't go quick though. That is my pet peeve about the Burst. I like the TAC more because Innever run out of ammo so quick. I land my shots better with it too. |

It's high ROF apparently leads to frequent reloads but considering its immense power it's not that much of a problem.

They better nerf the range of the AR sometimes i feel like i scout in my hmg suit. Luckily i am good with the forge or i would have ragequit the game along time ago. deadass

Yeah true. I tend to reload more with it. I might have to try it again w/ 2 dmg mods. It's dangerous with 2. |
