Should militia be nerfed? It gets irritating when someone takes a militia item and sinks expensive things with it like a militia heavy with a militia forge gun trying to one hit proto suits or a militia shotugn militia scout killing proto. Militia should be there to help us learn the item and see if we'd like to skill in to it or not not be our number 1 go to weapon. CCP great job on nerfing militia nanohives things suck now and feel like actual militia before you could take a militia nanohive and use it like a basic or advanced so this is what I want to do. Skill in to something at atleast basic or use miltiia to get an idea of how it works and feels but militia shouldn't be blues go to weapon.

And it's not really that I want to nerf new players even a new player can get in to anything standard because it only cost around 12k sp but unless you are gonna up the price on militia it needs to be nerfed. Militia forge guns blapping protos in one shot or militia shot guns koing heavys in seconds.

Really, the issue is TTK being retardedly short. Forge Guns should be one-shotting dropsuits (not sure if any heavies can survive low-end FG shots?) but the problem there is that it's currently very easy to hit with FG's. I'm not a skilled FG user, but I can rack up a pretty respectable kill feed with basic FG's and better with AFG's. |

No. It's just hit detection/AA that's making it seem like that. Once the stats (hopefully) change, it'll be better.

I understand and I was going to write a post about how CCP is killing it's own market place by having all of these sales in their aurum weapons ( for the last three months ) because it helps those who don't have the skill to gain the skills to use said items but it also kills the demands for the " everyday " weapons that are needed because with items that are fifty percent off , it makes stockpiling too easy and kills the need for the " everyday " weapons .
The militia ( topic ) has been a thorn in my side for some time now . I don't think that people are using them for a go to weapon , it's just the fact that they are CHEEP and easily replaceable . You have people that are level five in weapons usage ( i.e. the skill sets and that weapons skill tree branch as well ) that just choose to use these weapons so they can " bankroll " their wallets and make " more of a profit " while suffering less of a risk . That's another thing that is killing the marketplace and the economy ( or soon will ) , it will bring up the prices of the militia items ( which won't make any difference if they still have the fifty that they started with ) which in turn will cause ALL items to skyrocket in price . Which as I see it , would be very unfair because truly CCP is the blame for allowing these methods . If your level five and throw on a pro damage mod on whatever you use ( when really being level five should be more than enough ) or you can just use a basic or an advanced damage mod , that is just like using a prototype weapon but with a fifth of the price and the risk as well . If your bankrolling , you wouldn't mind being in a match where you die fifteen times and make fifteen kills because all the money that you saved and skill points gained . It's a win ... win .
