Having the option to not fit it allows you to fit more tank or whatever if that's not your thing. We have no idea how long Assault Dropships will be gone, but likely a few months, and the overall feeling of being able to defend yourself should translate to all dropships. A real sniper doesn't provide battlefield intelligence, a real sniper leaves no intelligence left on the battlefield.

Some PC matches I would lose close to 5 million each round.

Hopefully gunships get here soon so we can actually get a aerial attack vehicle. The newer the berry the dumber the juice.

Has anti air and anti vehicle, including installations, weapon systems. Limited ability against infantry. Fast and agile but limited hp. Ability to fit a seperate infantry carrier which blueberries can access. This has high hp, makes the ship slower and less agile, and can be jettisoned once you reach your destination. Weapon systems - a form of swarm launcher, low range 100 m and lasers, longish range. My vision is that dropships are situational in that they are used early for hot drops but after that they are mainly there to control the enemies vehicles I.e. they are the hard counter to anti infantry HAVs. It would also hopefully create interesting air battles.
