Probably because of the turret.
They need to find a better place to mount it so the top can still be up, without blocking the turret's line of sight |

We have tanks that are slower than the ones IRL,
Missiles that are 4 times bigger than a grenade but do half as much,
weapons that kill there masters.
We have wonderful intelligence too.
When a weapon overheats a powerful force chooses not to let us change equipment.
We can't activate our enertia dampeners unless we are so high.

Adding that to how LAVs can blow up like Pintos just from minor collisions, these things would never pass emissions tests, let alone meet OSHA standards.
I tried to put a level into Amarr Commando once, but got a server notification saying "Why?"
