I feel like it has something to do with it damage my clone through the tank. Similar to how a front gunner can be killed out from AV grenades.

Nope. PLC + proficiency + 3 complex damage mods cannot one hit that fit even if it was in the "sweet spot"

I'm just sad I got a death from it ;_;
Pretty sure my KD/r on my alt would be worlds different if I didn't die to "bugs" like this.
Or how there are certain places that if you drive a tank over you'll just blow up.

Anecdote. I finally got killed by a PLC two weeks ago. That is one total since the magic gun was released. Except for this glitch it doesn't seem to be worth any SP at all. Although this glitch would explain having a PLC Red chasing my Mad around the last few days. Never hit me, maybe that is what saved my Mad.
