Dear CPM, with planetary conquest 2.0 in the works, I was wondering if we could get some feedback, as to what skills an EVE player would need to train for the warbarge. |

No problem, for the most part you're the only CPM person who really seems to care, thanks for the reply, I genuinely appreciate it, here's to your re-election |

The war barge is at a very, very early stage of development and will be built by an EVE Online team regardless. Ultimately this will be a question for the CSM, not the CPM. They will be in a better place to know the status of any new EVE ships. Sorry we can't be of much help at this time... In CCP LeKjart's EVE Vegas presentation we could see a Warbarge. It's an Orca class ship: https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Orca II doubt it will be an orca, thats an industrial ship made by the ORE corporation.
It could very well be something similar however, considering it would be caring clones, and battlefield logistics :/ sounds to me more like a carrier though |

The problem is the people at Dust think they are providing incentives for EVE players, when the risk of doing stuff in lowsec for dust players is a million times greater than the reward. Literally EVE players don't benefit from Dust players, and until they do or can be hurt by Dust players one day, the two games will never merge into one universe//one war |

Small ships can dock Orca and be refitted in space. And could be used for OB strikes. There is nothing preventing an Orca to be retrofitted for military purposes. Say, by Caldari Constructions corporation. I wonder if we'll see RDV drones in EVE market too. I'd say O.R.E. would have something against retrofitting their ships by the Caldari ;) Orca BPO are ready available in market. Any one can do research on it and itroduce some upgrades Caldari or not No need to ask ORE or DCM for the permission... @IWS, i agree Orca could be just a hint at ship class (skills path to train quickly!) and not the acctual warbarge pick. At 600mil ISK (aprox. Orca's current price tag) it will be very risky to fly a warbarge. Given it could be destroyed anywhere on it's way to the district picked for the attack. If so Planetary Conquest on interstellar scale will be much harder to do. Corps without friends in EVE will rather limit their operation to one planet or completely stay out of PC. So owning a district will become quite an achievement... Or i am missing something I don't qq chill out

I'm ok with the idea of a WARCA, but there needs to be more incentive to use it.
Also there's this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NIwekfp3p5Q
about a minute 20 seconds into it, There appeared to be an amarr ship that launches a shuttle that launches a few extra dust mercs into an already engaged battle. That would be a big advantage to close games being able to drop extra clones on the planet. |

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gw0gOjOWDuI 1:39 warbarge hologram, but yeah, Soraya that's what we need, everything that's in the trailers..
I mean I don't know what to be more upset about, the lack of one universe//one war let's focus on stupid parts of the game like new gear we can sell on the psn OR the fact that in the trailer they showed optics on weapons, something reasonable for a futuristic game and when it arrived we got none -_-.
