Just be honest and say you suck and yu don;t want a respec because alot of the newer players will be able to specialise and refine their character and rectify any mistakes they made as a brand new player and you don;t want to deal with the competition

Heavies have had 1 suit for the past year .. are you seriously saying they should;ve used a militia frame for the past year in the hope that the basic content of other racial heavy suits is implemented ?

The simple fact is that most players have had to spec into things they didn;t want because they didn;t have access to all the basic content and look at the complete overhaul to vehicles the skill tree is being changed new things added ...

If 1.7 doesn;t have a respec with the addition of new content then this game is uninstalled never to be played again ... can guarantee alot of vehicle users will do the same if they don;t get a respec seeing as their being completely reworked

I personally believe we should be refunded race-specific suit skills for heavy and light frames once all races are released (although I will just spec right back into Amarr heavy). Beyond that, I am against respecs.

However, CCP has plans to introduce a lot of things to 1.7 and 1.8 which include overhauled vehicles, more racial scouts, and new equipment items being introduced. A respec seems to be implied given the complexity of the overhauls. CCP, please fix the Nova Knives. Thank you.

I have a sg , nk, smg an faylock all at proficiency 4 an the smg is the only 100% reliable weapon, I'd still get a sg, smg if given a respec but I'd drop the falock an knives an get a pistol.

Is not fair that you are saving sp for the suit you already studied and suddenly on an uprising you got totally screwed , CCP should gives an option for this, in this case an skill respec. they should do this when they change something to much and turns useless comparing to others.

On a serious note though, I don't think it would be a good idea for CCP to hand out any more full respecs. If they do, a few months afterwards people will be crying for more respecs and it will be a never ending cycle. Respecs are very labour intensive things to do for CCP and it'd be better to work in other areas. Also, the only reason other games have respec options is because there is a limit to the skills you have and so the only way you can change your specialisation is via a respec. However, there is no limit to your max SP and so you can change you specialisation whenever you fancy by putting points in different skills. Yes, I understand some things have been over-nerfed and any SP invested in them has been wasted. But wouldn't it be better for them to fix the weapon or suit than just let you move the SP into somewhere else? Also, don't you freaking complain about the Cal logi. That suit was basically godmode before CCP balanced it. Now, however, it's still a very good suit, but it has limitations. Which is a good thing. As for partial respecs for the upcoming suits and vehicle changes, I agree with. The vehicle changes in 1.7 will completely change all of the vehicle skill trees and what's necessary for vehicles to function, so a respec for the vehicle skills only would really help with this transition. Also, with the Amarr heavy being the only heavy out currently, anyone wanting to play a heavy was forced into choosing this suit and not giving a respec for the amarr heavy skills when the new heavies come out would be incredibly annoying.
