Rendering is still horrible especially in vehicles as others have already mentioned. But this problem is not limited to vehicles alone. There are so many problems with rendering i am not even going to get into it. This needs to be fixed
#1In several instances today i was using my active scanner on foot and things such as drop uplinks/and nanohives would be visible to be for a second then half of them would disappear. the other half would stay scanned for the remaining 20 seconds. The scanner is meant to highlight those and by not doing so it is broken.
#2 cannot quick call squad orders when in a vehicle.
#3 extreme lag in every game i have played. which makes it very difficult to set squad orders when you go to aim because one second they are where your aiming next they jump 50 feet away. or you will drive an lav to pick them up and when you get to the green dot on the mini map they are no longer there and after a few seconds the dot will very quickly jump to another location.
#4 hitbox mechanics is still broken It needs to register damage client side rather than server side. Explanation is as follows, with the high latency that has followed uprising 1.0 release it has severely affected the hit detection for all weapons. Not only does it make it harder to aim but it also affects actual fire fights. For example if you are taking fire and you decide to move behind cover often it does not make a difference as the damage has been registered but not dealt to you. when this happens you feel like you are getting shot through walls which no one likes.
#5 grenade indicator. It is extremely difficult to see grenades that are thrown at you. they need to be much brighter
#6 Time to kill is far to short The average Dps for most of the guns are 600 DPS if most people have an average of 600 HP then the DPS is far too high. Time to kill is 1 second. from full health. You have to have noticed this already.
#7 and finally matchmaking. yes the elephant in the room. But seriously proto stomping is no fun it doesnt matter what side you are on. I do not even know how to begin to fix this but i believe it seriously needs to be fixed. I am a vet and am complaining. imagine how the new guys feel. |

I got to rendering and read no further the rendering is pathetic at the moment. I was cruising down the highway in my L.A.V and right before my eyes this crazed driver suddenly appeared out of no where 5 meters in front of me................. nuff said Oh yeah it's atrocious at a distance it makes it quite hard to shoot at (invisible) mercenaries. |

I must admit im suprised how this 'feature' has come through with the other fixes. i guess its like piling fat guys into a small car, at some point bits poke out the other side and perhaps this is one of those such issues.
Played alot of games yesterday and enjoyed it all very much except it really didnt matter what suit i wore, they all died pretty much at the same speed aka very quickly indeed.
One of the things i love about Dust is its 3rd dimension of skill - fitting capability - i think this has now perhaps gone out the window.
We shall see how it unfolds but currently Dust feels exceptionally similar to BF4 and COD in its spawn shoot die premise......

I have the Hybrid Hard Drive. I dunno how it does well on regular Hard drive. Rendering is not a problem in my ps3. |

Regardless my opinion stands. I have been here since closed beta which was the prime of this game. yes they have added some new features but it does not change the fact that this is quickly turning into COD/ BF3. The fact remains time to kill is far to short. 1 second kills are no fun. Its not a challenge any more. Its who has slightly the slightly better gun/ Hp. Any intelligent person knows this to be true so i disregard your comments as trolling and say to you **** right off.

We shall see how it unfolds but currently Dust feels exceptionally similar to BF4 and COD in its spawn shoot die premise...... the only difference is in cod every time you die the only loss to you is stats..in dust you lose isk ttk is far to short for such a serious game..people spend time and effort for these suits and to be honest they have no survivability ..hp tanking doesnt even matter anymore there is no ammount of hp you can slap ona suit that wont get annihilated in 1 second..i wouldnt be surprised if everyone has started dmg tanking as this game just became a twitch shooter |
