Scrambler Rifle should be stupid deadly against shields, though it is OP vs armor.

IDK, but what I do know is that it seems to melt the armor on my Minmatar suits like it was nothing but shield.

The ScR is pretty lethal.
But a ton of skilling is needed. I run ScR on occasion on my CalSalt, and it is quite irritating when I OH just as I'm about to kill somebody
I imagine it would be really potent on Amarr Salt

Yup, fully upgraded and modded scrambler rifles probably do 100dmg PER SHOT.
which is absolutely stupid.
anyway if you can;'t beat them join them, i created an Amarr scrambler rifle alt with the intention of armour tanking.
the SCR is pretty good for picking people off at medium range.

the other day i put a scrambler rifle standard on my standard amarian laser fit.. headshoted 3 people in a row charged each time 1hk each time reloaded.....killed 5 more 1 out right with scrambler 2 by taking shields first and then swapping to smg and then 3 more with scrambler after a reload its a nasty tool and has some absurd dmg over high ranges as does the ar..but unlike the ar the scrambler rifle has balancing factors.

scr is perfectly fine, it has enough balancing factors.
can't say anything about ascr because I dont use it.
can't wait for the ar to finally get the range nerf. thats all I needed to say.
atm every ar feels op, regardless if its a militia or proto they just hit you and you hit the ground lol

The scrambler rifle is no more than a sidearm, I can get about 10 kills from it but that's just about it. I prefer the assault rifle as it does more dps - since headshots are easy with it. |
